I graduated in May, (go me) along with Bobby... we had a little post-graduation bash to celebrate. Thanks to everyone who was able to attend, it meant a lot to me to be able to share my special moment with you. The past few years have been exceptionally rough in school, particularly with trying to be an officer in Circle K, and then finding out that I was Bipolar. I'm disappointed that it took me six years (and $55,000 in debt) but I'm proud of myself for making it through. I celebrated graduation with the party mentioned above, but also with a cruise to the Carribbean. It was AWESOME. Carnival is the best cruise line ever (despite the current news stories about them losing a female passenger) -- and the Conquest is by far the best ship. I'm lucky to have been able to travel on it, and- it left out of New Orleans, so I didn't have to fly! Best news ever. I LOVED every activity and every minute of it. Quite pricey, but definitely worth every second of it. The ports of call were amazing, except for Jamaica, which was very scary and poverty stricken. The people are so desperate, they try EVERYTHING and ANYTHING to make a buck off of you. I did however climb a 600 foot waterfall (yes, klutzy, unathletic me climbed a waterfall) and it was an amazing experience. I also went to a place called Hell, Grand Cayman- where I got to send postcards from Hell. I have pictures if anyone wants to see. Cozumel provided some great shopping, but the shopping was so great- I almost got arrested and left there. Let me know if you want the story. I plan to cruise again several more times, and as soon as I can afford it, plan to enroll in the frequent cruiser club. Also, I plan to go again next summer, and I will be posting that date soon so that any of my friends who are interested can save up and come along- as I noticed that it is MUCH more fun with a big group of people. Let me know if you are interested, and more on that later. I'm still working full-time for my Dad, and with more responsibility comes, well.. more work. I've been working CRAZY hours, usually anywhere from 7:30-8 am to anywhere from 5:30-7:30 pm. But I love my job, I love the people, and I love all the progress I've made. I sold more parts last month than anyone else has ever sold in any other month before, and I love that (Not to mention I make commission)-- so no complaints. By the way, my line (I'm usually the only one to answer it) is 504-822-2222 X3. Try to keep the calling during work hours to a minimum, but that's only cause I'm busy- no one will care how much or when you call me. Also of interest, as of last Saturday or so- I'm now going to be a Mary Kay consultant. Don't groan, gals-- this is not a "I'm going to sell you everything I have for your first born child" thing- I'm really in it for the employee discount on products, because I know I buy the minimum you need to be a consultant in a year on my own. But, if anyone runs out of anything or needs anything or has any questions you can always feel free to get it from me, or if anyone you know needs anything, feel free to refer them. I'm not opposed to having parties, but I'm not going to actively go after them either. I will have a website though. I'm busy enough as it is without this, I just hope it will help me save a little money on a product I like and maybe make a few extra dollars on the side. That's the American way, right? And I do not by any means intend to infringe on any of the people I know who are already consultants or any of their consultants (you know who you are). Happy Birthday to my wonderful roomie Taryn- I wish you a wonderful day... and also Happy Moving In Day to Matt & Nick, the new Dangerous Duo. See everyone later...
