1) Sometimes people NEED to be told harshly, because they are too dense to understand, yes this is true. But, don't start off that way! If people automatically get hurt or defensive, your message won't get across. So start with constructive criticism. 2) There are many who complain, bitch, whine, moan. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But those who do not have solutions to the problems that they endlessly make others aware of, do not deserve to have voices to vocalize their concerns. Granted, MAYBE you are unsure of how to solve a problem, and then it is totally okay to bring it to someone else's attention, two heads are often better than one. But if you're just going to bitch just to hear yourself talk.. just shut up. 3) Not everyone is a Psychology major like I am, and not everyone has the natural gift of being able to see through people like I sometimes do. But EVERYONE has the ability to discern when someone's motives are NOT good. So, no matter how hard you might try to convince someone that you are "doing what's best for the group" or "just being a buddy" - EVERYONE understands that you are just selfish, want to toot your own horn, are trying to get political and/or social power, and get your own agenda accomplished. It really hurts me when people see how hard I've worked and will continue to work, not only in school, and Circle K, but job/work as well- and still criticize me. I take challenges on for myself to grow, and learn-- and I've learned SO much since last December. When people doubt I'm doing a good job, that's absolutely okay- bring on the (constructive) criticism. When people doubt my intentions - that's absolute bullshit. They should know me better than that. That's it! Thanks for reading all of that. -Rebecca Rebecca at 11:58 PM I'm getting ready to try to change the template--- I really hate how Blogger only gives you 6-8 choices. I thought this site promoted creativity & individuality. Oh well.. we will fix it! As soon as I figure out how to! Muhahaha. Rebecca at 6:45 PM Okay, as the title suggests... here we go again! I've gotten caught up with school, Circle K, work, and life in general the past year-- and I know I haven't been the best at keeping in touch with everyone-- so I'm going to try this again. Hey, now is the time for New Year's resolutions, right? Rebecca at 1:47 AM | |
